This Privacy Policy explains how Ozner Entertainment Inc. collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects personal information in connection with SmidgeSpark.
1. Information We Collect
We may collect: (a) account information, such as email address, authentication-provider identifier, account settings, and, if you use Google sign-in, the name and profile image associated with your Google account; (b) membership and transaction information, such as plan selection, subscription status, billing history, payment-processor transaction identifiers, and refund or cancellation information; (c) communications, such as support requests and related records; (d) device, log, and security information, such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages or features accessed, timestamps, and fraud or security signals; and (e) information you choose to provide through the Service. Full payment-card numbers are collected and processed by our payment processor and are not stored by us. We receive limited card details from the processor, such as card brand, last four digits, and expiration date, to identify your payment method and support billing.
2. How We Use Information
We use personal information to provide and maintain the Service; create and secure accounts; process memberships, payments, cancellations, and refunds; respond to support requests; send service-related notices; prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents; comply with law; enforce our agreements; analyze and improve the Service; and send marketing communications only where permitted and subject to your choices.
3. Sources of Information
We receive information directly from you, automatically through your use of the Service, from authentication providers when you choose email/password or Google sign-in, from Stripe in connection with purchases, and from service providers that help operate, secure, host, or support the Service.
4. How We Disclose Information
We may disclose personal information to service providers that process information on our behalf for hosting and security (Cloudflare), authentication (Supabase), transactional email delivery (Resend), payments and billing (Stripe), customer support, and related operations; to professional advisers; in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets; to comply with law, legal process, or governmental requests; and to protect the rights, safety, security, and property of SmidgeSpark, users, or others. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
5. Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe, which handles payment-card information under its own privacy terms. We receive limited transaction and customer information needed to provide your membership, support billing, prevent fraud, and meet accounting and legal obligations.
6. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We and our service providers may use cookies, local storage, pixels, logs, and similar technologies to operate the Service, remember preferences, maintain sessions, protect security, and understand Service performance. You may control some cookies through browser settings, although disabling certain technologies may affect functionality. Before using nonessential cookies or similar technologies where consent is required, we will provide the required notice and choice.
7. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to provide the Service, maintain records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations. We may retain limited information in backups for a documented, time-limited deletion cycle, subject to legal, security, billing, and record-retention obligations.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You should use a strong, unique password and protect your account credentials.
9. Your Choices and Rights
You may update certain account information through the Service, unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in those messages, and contact us at privacy@oznerentertainment.com to request access, correction, deletion, or other rights available under applicable law. We may need to verify your request and may retain information where permitted or required by law. Service-related communications may continue when necessary to administer your account, membership, security, or legal obligations.
10. Children
SmidgeSpark does not permit children to create independent accounts or directly submit personal information or artwork at launch. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 except as permitted by applicable law, including after obtaining verifiable parental consent where required. If we learn that we have collected a child’s personal information without required consent, we will delete it promptly. Parents or guardians who believe a child has provided personal information may contact privacy@oznerentertainment.com. Before we knowingly collect personal information from children with verifiable parental consent, we will publish a children’s data-retention policy that identifies the collection purposes and specific deletion timeframes. Any future direct child use, public gallery, or competition feature will require separate review and controls before launch.
11. International Users
If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States and other locations where we or our service providers operate. We will implement additional notices, legal bases, transfer mechanisms, and rights processes before making the Service available in jurisdictions where they are required.
12. Third-Party Services
The Service may link to or integrate with third-party services, including authentication providers, payment processors, or social sign-in providers. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. We encourage you to review those policies before providing information to them.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make a material change, we will provide notice as required by law. The effective date identifies the latest revision.
